CAN I COOK STEAM WITH THE SPEED KITCH?
You can use the pressure cooker to steam cooking. It is a high quality method of cooking, for example, vegetables: it retains vitamins and nutrients. -Do not use more than 750 ml (6 glasses) of liquid. -Use the steam basket. Place it on the tripod or hang it from the protrusions in the pan (depending on the model) and make sure that the food does not soak in water.
CAN I STORE FOOD IN THE SPEED POT?
Do not leave food in the pressure cooker before and after cooking Put the cooked food in the refrigerator, in a closed container.
THE FOOD IS UNCOOKED OR IT IS OVERCOOKED – WHY?
Check: -cooking time, -if the heat source is set to a sufficiently high value after the operating pressure has been reached, -the correct position of the pressure regulating valve, -the amount of liquid.
HOW CAN I ADJUST MY RECIPES TO COOKING WITH SPEED POTS?
The cooking time with a pressure cooker can be up to 3 times shorter compared to cooking in a conventional pot. Start with the recipes in the recipe book that comes with your pot. Once you understand the basic principles, you can apply them to other recipes. Do not forget to add at least 250 ml (2 glasses) of liquid.
HOW WILL I RELEASE THE STEAM WHEN THE COOKING IS COMPLETED?
There are 2 methods: Slow release – gradually turn the program selector to the steam position. This method is used for boiled vegetables, large pieces of meat and fish dishes. Quick release – place the kettle under a tap with running cold water directing the water flow over the metal part of the lid. This method is used for liquid-based foods, such as soups, rice, pasta, milk puddings, egg creams, cake and pudding mixes, recipes that include rice or pasta, and high-liquid recipes, to prevent splashing. of liquid from the steam valve together with the steam when releasing the pressure regulating valve. When the pressure indicator is lowered, then all the pressure has been released.
HOW MUCH LIQUID DO YOU NEED TO COOK IN THE SPEED POT?

• the pressure switch is set correctly (depending on the model),

WITH WHICH HEAT SOURCES CAN I USE THE SPEED COOKER?
Use suitable heat sources. Refer to the operating instructions regarding the suitability of the heat sources. Use a hob with a diameter equal to or less than the base of the pressure cooker.
STEAM AND / OR FOOD PREVENTS FROM THE PRESSURE VALVE, THE LOCK INDEX OR THE SAFETY DEVICE
• The pressure cooker is overfilled.
• The heat is excessive.
• The pressure regulator, lock indicator or safety device is blocked due to faulty maintenance and prevents normal operation.
THE COVER OF THE SPEED HAS IS STUCK.
Before opening the pot, make sure that all the steam has been released and that the safety indicator has come down. If you are sure that all the steam has been released, shake the product and check that the lock or pressure indicator (depending on the models) has been lowered. If not, place the pot under cold water and try to open it again.
WHAT ELSE CAN I DO WITH THE SPEED COOKER?
You can use the pot as a huge deep frying pan or as a pot. For this purpose you can buy a glass lid for the pressure cooker
WHAT KIND OF FOOD CAN I COOK IN THE SPEED POT?

WHICH FOODS CORRESPOND TO REGULATIONS 1 AND 2 OF THE CONTROL VALVES?;

WHEN DO I BEGIN TO TIME MY RECIPES?
Cooking begins when the pressure regulating valve allows the steady release of steam with a constant whistling noise. At this point, turn down the heat and calculate the cooking time indicated in the recipe. SHOULD I INCREASE THE COOKING TIME IF THE INGREDIENT PROPORTIONS INCREASE?
The increase in pressure will take longer, but the cooking time will be the same (once the operating valve is activated).
SHOULD I USE THE CART?
The basket must be used when cooking with steam. You can choose whether to use it during cooking.
HOW MUCH WATER OR OTHER LIQUID SHOULD I ADD TO THE SPEED COOKER FOR COOKING? ;
For cooking directly in the pan, always add a minimum amount of liquid or at least equal to 2 glasses (25 cl or 8.8 UK fl oz).
For steam cooking, add 75 cl (26 UK fl oz) of water to the bottom of the pan.
Maximum filling: do not fill the pressure cooker more than 2/3 of the height of the pan.
Caution: if the pressure cooker heats up without liquid, you should bring it to an authorized service center for inspection.
TIP FOR SAFE COOKING OF CERTAIN FOODS
For cooking large pieces of meat and foods with a superficial skin (whole sausages, tongue, poultry…), we advise you to pierce them before cooking with a knife or fork. In fact, during cooking they may contain boiling and splashing liquid.
